Kindergarten to 3rd Grade

Summary:
God’s story is the most beautiful story ever told, full of wonder and scandalous grace. Nothing is more important for the younger generation than imparting a rich vision of the gospel to them. This curriculum is based on the Biggest Story Bible Storybook by pastor Kevin DeYoung. The Biggest Story Curriculum incorporates a host of integrated print and digital components to teach kids key Bible stories from Genesis to Revelation. We pray that this curriculum will help our children understand God’s plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus

Growth Goals:
  • Learn the stories of the Bible and how they fit together into one larger story.
  • Continue to build a framework of their relationship with Jesus.

4th to 5th Grade

Summary:
Throughout the history of the church, Christians have used catechisms—collections of questions and answers designed for memorization and recitation—to teach others the core doctrines of the faith. The New City Catechism is a modern-day resource aimed at reintroducing this ancient method of teaching to Christians today.

The book lays out 52 questions and answers related to God, human nature, sin, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and more.

Growth Goals:
  • Each child will receieve a small book to help them understand who God is and what he has done. With answers that are short enough for children to read, understand, and memorize, children will be engaged with learning the core doctines of our faith.
  • Continue to understand the framework of their own relationship with Jesus.
